The TS Packaging Division of the Robino & Galandrino Group continues to innovate in the flexible packaging sector, developing a new solution dedicated to the packaging of liquid soap and detergents. Starting with capless preformed doypack pouches, with is welded the cap directly into the packaging line. A project that combines advanced engineering, operational precision and the ability to respond to the needs of a rapidly changing market.
Preformed doypack: with handle and capped straw at the corner
The customer needed a line capable of handling a high-speed production flow while maintaining:
- Accurate dosing of liquid soap, even with varying viscosities;
- filling of foaming doypack products;
- In-line cap application, without manual intervention;
- Perfect sealing to ensure safety, tightness and shelf-life;
- Reduction of waste and maximum business continuity.
Our solution is designed to integrate all these steps into one compact, reliable and fully automated line.
Integrated technology: from pre-made envelope to finished product
The line developed by TS Packaging combines multiple technologies into a single stream:
- Management of empty envelope stock with and without cap;
- Automatic cap application with high-precision pick & place systems;
- Controlled filling using dedicated dosing systems for viscous products;
- Optimized top weld for multilayer materials;
The result is a continuous, stable and perfectly synchronized process capable of ensuring a final product of consistent quality.
A project built together with the client
As in every Robino & Galandrino Group implementation, collaboration has been central. We worked with the client to:
- Analyze the characteristics of liquid soap and its dosing requirements;
- Define the most suitable doypack format for the target market;
- Design the integrated cap application station;
- Optimize the line to reduce downtime and facilitate maintenance;
- Train staff to ensure autonomy and operational safety.
Every component is designed and manufactured in Italy, according to the quality standards that distinguish our group.
